Bacon recently bought an entertainment center at Ikea. So the other day he decided to put it together.
Bacon carefully looked over the directions. He quite likes Ikea stuff but feels it is very biased towards people and the directions are confusing.
1. Bacon didn’t understand why someone would go all the way back to Ikea to use their telephone. and 2. Why would anyone buy a dresser for use as stairs? Bacon had many more questions about these directions, but being a fatty meat, he decided “I’m Bacon!” which means directions somehow do not apply to him. He tossed them aside and got to work.
Bacon dragged the drill downstairs, trying not to get too wrapped up.
He checked the level very carefully.
He drilled in the back thing that holds the cabinet to the wall. Bacon is not privy to various hardware terms. He called it “that metal thing the cabinet hangs on”.
Bacon has been working out! He flexed his massive core muscles as he heaved the cabinet into place. You’ll notice that this cabinet seems awfully high off the ground. That’s because Bacon, in tossing the directions aside, did not hang the correct cabinet. Instead, he hung the top cabinet as the bottom one. I think Bacon was using more brawn than brain today.
After realizing he hung the wrong cabinet, Bacon cursed a bit and rehung the bigger cabinet on the bottom. See how much nicer it looks?
Bacon had to enlist the help of a day laborer to get the top cabinet hung. He just can’t jump that high, even when hyper.
It took him the entire day, but Bacon finally finished! He was right proud of his work! Bacon thinks it makes the room look bigger and brighter. He still has some lighting to put in. But he’ll get around to it.
Bacon, you are allowed to use POWER TOOLS? You are very, very lucky! Harley has a toolbelt, but all of his tools are plush toys.
Bacon thinks Harley should have some working power tools. I mean, Harley is such a tough, manly name and a name like that deserves more than plush toy tools. heehee
Good job Bacon! Ikea scares me.
Ikea is like Target. It makes you buy things you never knew you needed…. heh
Bacon is so talented! I wouldn’t mind having some new cabinets. Too bad I don’t have a Bacon to help me hang them.
Bacon imparts a lovely smokey odor to the cabinetry. He would make your room smell wonderful. heehee

Bacon is currently hopping around, showing off his ab. LOL!
